Dr. Rebecca Cornell, DVM

Growing up on a cow-calf operation in Northwestern Ontario fueled Dr. Rebecca Cornell’s passion for livestock agriculture. She attended the University of Guelph completing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science with honours.

During her undergraduate degree she was exposed to the Ontario dairy industry for the first time and became engaged in the industry. While completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Ontario Veterinary College she continued to develop her understanding and clinical skills regarding food producing animals, specifically beef and dairy cattle. In 2013 she attended the Summer Dairy Institute at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York to further expand her skillset in dairy production medicine and develop contacts with industry leaders across North America. In her spare time she enjoys playing hockey, soccer and travelling.
