Dr. Cassandra Carolino, DVM
Dr. Cassandra Carolino is originally from Putnam, where she grew up with her identical twin sister, two older brothers, and her parents on their rural property. As a young child, her love for wildlife and the environment kickstarted her journey into veterinary medicine.

She then went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Guelph in 2020, where her project focused on the long-distance transport of cattle. Finally, she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary medicine, with distinction, from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2024. Cassandra currently lives in Guelph with her fiancé, Michael, and their shepherd/retriever mix, Ralph.
Cassandra enjoys spending her free time outdoors and connecting with nature, participating in activities such as hiking, camping, stand-up paddle boarding, yoga, and snowboarding. She has special interests in small animal preventative medicine as well as emergency and critical care.
